Lifetime warranty on your treatment

All laser eye and lens implant treatments come with a lifetime guarantee. We do this because we want the very best for your eyes. After each treatment, you will receive the following as standard:

  • A complete aftercare programme including all checks.
  • Free eye drops (artificial tears) in the first year.
  • Free re-treatment for residual strength: read the conditions below.

When will I get a re-treatment?

If there is residual strength after your first laser eye or lens implant treatment and you suffer from it daily, you may be eligible for a repeat treatment. A separate procedure applies for this with a number of guarantee conditions. You can read what these are below. If you do not adhere to the conditions, your guarantee will expire.

Warranty conditions

  • In the first year after your treatment, you will attend all follow-up checks with your ophthalmologist and optometrist at the FYEO clinic of your choice.
  • You adhere to the rules of life, advice and medication schedule to promote the recovery of your eyes. Read the specific points of attention that apply to your treatment in the treatment brochure.
  • The retreatment must be medically justified.
    The strength to be corrected must be more than + or – 0.50 dioptres and be technically feasible.
  • It must be a similar treatment.

Regular check-ups

After your laser eye or lens implant treatment, we will keep a close eye on the recovery of your eyes. We will do this during a number of check-ups. We will plan these together with you at one of our clinics.

In the first year after your treatment we plan a number of regular check-ups. Sometimes additional check-ups are necessary. This is determined by the ophthalmologist who treats you. All check-ups are included in the price.
