Why do I pay handling fees?

Handling costs are fixed costs that every pharmacy in the Netherlands charges per type of medicine (cost may vary). FYEO does not determine these costs, these are agreements between pharmacy and health insurer. FYEO works together with pharmacy Amstelkwartier. You may come across this name on the invoice from the health insurer.
