Drs. Ellen van den Wittenboer

If Drs. Ellen van den Wittenboer had to introduce herself in a few key words, they would be caring, attention to detail, a bit of a perfectionist, driven to learn new things and developing herself in the technical field. “I try to guide clients as personally as possible. That means customization.”

Customization is exactly what appeals to her within FYEO. “Clients are listened to carefully. What exactly is the problem? At FYEO, it is always about providing the right solution for the right client. We work with the latest techniques. It forces you to provide care at the highest level.”

Drs. van den Wittenboer has been working for FYEO since 2022. Born and raised in Weert, she specialized as an ophthalmologist at the Radboud Hospital. Subsequently, Drs. van den Wittenboer did an internship at the Maxima Medical Center in Eindhoven. Drs. van den Wittenboer is still affiliated with the Radboud Hospital.

What Drs. van den Wittenboer likes about ophthalmology is operating and working with her hands. “It is a technical profession where you can work in detail and very independently.”

Drs. van den Wittenboer himself does not know what it is like to suddenly be able to see clearly again. “I still have good eyes myself and have not undergone any eye treatment. But I do see the reactions of my clients. After the operation, clients are often moved. This is exactly what makes my profession so beautiful.”
